Boutique whole-home renovations for the Bellevue–Everett corridor.
Olson Kitchen + Bath designs and builds whole-home renovations for homeowners in
Bellevue
Bothell
Kirkland
Mill Creek
Redmond
Sammamish
Woodinville
Homes built between 1985 and 2005 that have served their families well, and are ready to function as the home they’ve become rather than the home they were when the floor plan was drawn.

A whole-home renovation isn’t a series of room remodels stacked on top of each other. It is the chance to rethink how your home works as a whole — the kitchen connected to the family room, the primary suite expanded into a hallway no one used, the front of the house finally talking to the back. The work that takes more than a single project to do right.
Every Olson Kitchen + Bath whole-home renovation is held to the same standard the rest of our work is held to: every joint, every finish, every detail given the same level of care — including the parts no one will ever see.
“You and I will know it’s not right.”
That standard is why we stage every material before demolition begins, document every decision in writing, and finish every detail to the level Bill’s grandfather demanded on his first job site more than four decades ago.
Project Types & Investment Ranges
Whole-home renovations vary widely depending on the scope, the structural work involved, and how many spaces are reimagined. We publish typical ranges so you can decide if our approach fits your project before the first conversation.
Phased Whole-Home Renovations
Some projects make more sense in two phases — kitchen and main level first, then primary suite and lower level a year later. We sequence the design and construction so the second phase finishes the vision the first phase started, not a separate project tacked onto the back end.
Multi-Room Renovation
Kitchen anchor with two or three connected spaces — typically the family room, a primary bath, and a hallway or pantry. Walls opened, layouts reconsidered, and the central spaces of the home rebuilt to work as one.
$250,000 to $500,000
Whole-Home Transformation
Comprehensive renovation across most of the home. Structural changes, cabinetry built for each space, designer-grade appliance and fixture packages, refinished or replaced flooring, and a coordinated material palette that carries through every space.
$500,000 to $900,000+

Design & Craftsmanship
In a whole-home renovation, the work that matters most is the work that ties the rooms together. Material transitions at the threshold between two spaces. Sightlines from the kitchen through the family room to the back yard. The same trim profile carrying through hallways the original builder treated as an afterthought. Cabinetry detailing in the primary suite that resolves the same way the cabinetry detailing in the kitchen does.
This is where four decades of finish carpentry and decades of running construction projects show. Bill personally reviews every project at three milestones — framing, pre-finish, and final — because the difference between a competent renovation and a great one is decided in details no client will ever inspect.
The result is a home that feels resolved the day it is finished — not updated in pieces, but built as one.
Why Olson Kitchen + Bath
We are deliberately not the biggest remodeling firm in the corridor. We could have scaled the company. We chose not to. A whole-home renovation requires the same hands and the same eyes from first consultation to final walkthrough — and the only way to deliver that consistently is to take on a small number of projects each year.
That decision shapes every whole-home renovation we build:
The people you meet in the first consultation are the same people you’ll work with through final walkthrough.
Every renovation receives the level of attention a project of this scope and investment requires.
Decisions are made with full context — design, construction, and budget all coordinated under one roof, across every room.
The finished home reflects the level of care that went into building it.

Start Your Whole-Home Renovation
If you’re planning a whole-home renovation in Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Mill Creek, Woodinville, Sammamish, or Bothell — we’d love to meet you.
The first step is an in-home consultation. It’s a conversation about your home, your goals, and what a project of this scope together might look like. No pitch. No pressure. Just an honest assessment of whether we’re the right fit for what you’re building.
