Olson Kitchen + Bath is a family-led kitchen, bath, and whole-home remodeling firm serving the Bellevue–Everett corridor.

We are not the biggest remodeling company in the corridor. We have no intention of being.


What we are is a family that has spent four generations perfecting the craft of building beautiful, lasting spaces — and a firm built deliberately around the client experience that discerning homeowners deserve but rarely get.

The Standard

Bill's grandfather was a builder. So was his father.

His grandfather taught him the trade on job sites in Napa Valley, where the standard was set high and shortcuts weren’t tolerated. Bill learned finish carpentry by trimming out the insides of closets — and his grandfather wouldn’t let him walk away until every joint was perfect.


When a young Bill complained that no one would ever see the inside of a closet, his grandfather’s answer was brief and final:

“You and I will know it’s not right.”

His father carried it forward. A master craftsman in his own right, he took Bill from those first closets to real command of the trade in the years that followed.


That standard has never left him. It is the reason every joint, every finish, and every detail at Olson Kitchen + Bath is held to the same level of care — including the parts no one will ever see. It is not a marketing position. It is how this family has always built.

Bill leads construction, estimating, and client relationships. He brings 50+ years of hands-on construction leadership across California and Washington to every project — and a personal commitment that the work meets the standard his grandfather and his father set.

Melanie, a fourth-generation member of the family, leads day-to-day operations, project coordination, and the client experience. She is the consistent point of contact from the first conversation through the final walkthrough, ensuring every project moves with clarity and care.

Maureen leads design and selections, and joins Bill in the home for every consultation. She helps clients turn a vision into specific choices — the tile, the fixtures, the finishes — and has designed whole-home remodels the family has built.

Matthew, a fourth-generation member of the family, leads marketing and the company's digital presence. He makes sure the work the family does in the field is seen the way it deserves to be — clearly, honestly, and without the noise most remodeling marketing relies on.

Sheila Anderson

Interior Designer

Sheila pairs a designer’s eye with an engineer’s precision. She holds a degree in interior design and spent years on residential projects — space planning, lighting, cabinetry, and finishes — before a long career designing custom aircraft interiors, where tolerances run to fractions of a millimeter. An independent design partner to Olson Kitchen + Bath, she brings that same exactness to the rooms she designs for our clients.

We are deliberately not the biggest remodeling firm in the corridor. We could have scaled the company.

We chose not to.

Scale would have diluted what makes the work worth doing — the relationship with each client, the quality of the finished space, the experience of working with a family that takes your home as seriously as their own. We made the trade deliberately.
